12 weeks 4 days rather than the 4 to 6 weeks I was quoted. I also was charged £100 in port fees despite the US company telling me that what I paid them covered EVERYTHING.

Do not use Infinity Moving of NY or Dolphin Movers in the UK. I’ve been lied to and let down so many times I’ve lost count. Nobody in this whole experience seems to understand the idea of customer service (never once contacted me to tell me about the delays, didn’t reply to e-mails or return phone calls).

I’m here! The flight was totally problem-free, just waiting for all our stuff to arrive.

This time two days from now we’ll be there!

Then I’ll book the flight, should be back in old Blighty on Thursday!

They can’t tell me how much longer but at least I know that they’re working on it and I told the lady that we’re just waiting on the passport to book our flight so she said she’d see what she could do. Fingers crossed!

The $2.10 per minute passport line couldn’t tell me anything! I just have to sit and wait :o/

Door to door will take 4 to 6 weeks. We’re visiting with family in the US for now.

There was a little tiny ommision on the passport form so they sent the whole thing back. Figures it would be the attorney who co-signed it who missed something off ;o)

Well I got that fixed and now have to go to the Post Office to mail it back again. On the bright side they had started processing it, that’s clear from the stamps and scribles and one photo being glued to the form.

Oh, and the bags arrived. Very nice.

A little early I guess but one less thing on the list. Overstock have some good deals on luggage so I ordered a 4 piece set for $100 (RRP $400). Nearer the time I’ll have to find out what the weight allowance will be on the plane to know if I’ll need any more bags.

Now I’m starting to stress about finding a job. Must calm down, I’ll cope, I always do. Must not stress!
