get my degree

I almost feel like a real student. One more month and I start classes. I could get into the Bio class I needed, it filled up on day one! I will have to camp my advisors office for early sign ups for the spring sememster. On top of that, the only Algebra class left was online. My worst subject too, figures. I will get all done though, just you watch. Hopefully next semester the online registration will be up and running, and I can sign up the second they open the courses.

I also bought a backpack. I feel all student-y now!

Is done with me. Wow. I even went to Florida to get some paperwork from my dad for them. Got back, turned it in, wrong paperwork. You have got to be kidding me! But after much wheedling, whining, and a very true sob story about my dad in the hospital and unable to get to his files, they are going to let me slide with only two forms of proof for my father’s income. My father who lives nine hours away but they still consider me financially dependent of. Gah!

But it is all done now! I am just waiting for the letter in the mail, and I have an appointment with my counselor to register for my classes! I would do a happy dance right now, if the thought of collecting all of my dad’s financial information next year didn’t suck the lifeforce right out of me.

I have not even started school yet, but I am frothing at the mouth to go this fall. I have always loved school, and I think my brain is slowly dying from all these years of reading nothing but fiction novels. Now, don’t get me wrong, I obviously adore fiction novels or I would not buy and read so many, but I need real knowledge. I need human interation in a learning facility. I need to go to school! Soon.
