I splurged a bit and bought some new clothes. Two pairs of jeans, and three very nice blouses (one of which I promptly spilled bleach on). As well a various underthings that I won’t tell you about.
I also bought a couple of work-out outfits. Which is really nice, because now I can stop wearing pajama bottoms. That was a wee bit embarassing.
Though my new workout pants are shaped just like pajama bottoms, only with a sleek racing stripe rather than “Shoppaholic” printed all over them in bright pink.

Tennis shoes, and not the cheap-o ones from Wal-Mart this time. I went to an actual shoe store, and lucky me they happened to be having a sale at the time, I tried on a few pair in the brand name I know and trust untill I found a pair that fit nicely, I even took a moment to find a coloring I favor, and I bought them. Hooray for me!

I noticed all of my clothes are years old, most don’t fit properly. I keep telling myself that I will buy some clothes as soon as I have more money, or lose some weight, but it never happens! I was finally down to four pairs of jeans, and rotating them through out the week. Then one pair just….Fell apart. I had worn them so often for so long they just gave up the ghost. I was sitting at work and I noticed these small tears in faded places. As the day went by, they got bigger and exposed more, until I finally had to run home and change! How awful! So now I will set aside a portion of each check to buy clothes with. It is just as important as the phone bill, or the cable bill. More so because my clothes make a statement about myself. I don’t want that statement being, “I am too poor to buy a pair of jeans.”
