i ran .15 miles a few times today for a grand total of .6 miles. i’m still trying to get the slow breathing thing daon but i think part of it is that i’m not hydrated enough. i’m going to try to drink more water at night and before and during exercise to see if it helps. but tomorrow i’m going to attempt to run at least .2 miles at a time by the end of the day.

i’m starting my goal in a little less than two weeks…a week from friday. i want to get the cleaning phase of my scarification over with before i start. i’m happy about it.
i don’t know if i’ll be allowed to run until my scarification heals, but as soon as i can i’m going to start this goal. if my lazy marine can do it, so can i.
here is my plan: i’ll work up to one mile in small steps. run .15 miles every day for a week. then move to .25 miles, .35, .5, .65, .75, 1 mile. then i’ll work up to two miles in .25 mile incrimates (1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2miles), and keep that up throught to 3 miles a day. then once i hit that goal i’ll do 4 and 5 in half mile incrimates (4, 4.5, 5 miles.
it will take me a few months, but it will be worth it to keep up with my marine when he wants to go for a run.
