it’s sad and slow and beautiful. the ending chorus reminds me of myself. “Don’t leave me here, I hate it here.” i’m afraid i’ll be left behind (or leave behind) and have to start over. that’s a scary thought. my life has ultimately been so similair for so long that i don’t think i’d have a clue what to do. nobody dies in my story, but they’ve been broken in body and spirit. i don’t want to be hurt anymore. i wish someone had their feathery wings so they could take me to a nicer place. (i’m not emo, i swear, just in a down mood right now and i do love this song)
