I did fairly well on the tests I took recently, so I am taking this one off the list. However, I will continue to practice so I can ensure my vocabulary doesn’t shrink. Besides, it is so much easier (and faster!) to understand when you do it all the time.

It’s been a few years since I last signed, and as I reviewed my books, it was amazing how much I still remembered. I really thought it was all lost for good. I will go through all of the lessons (quickly, I hope!) to get a feel for my level of expertise. If I can rate a 3 on a 5 scale, I will mark this one as done. After that, I may replace with “teach someone ASL,” which should keep it fresh in my mind AND give me incentive to improve my vocabulary.
I learned a bit some years back, since my supervisor was Deaf and it made communication between us easier. Since then, though, I have forgotten almost everything. This time, I want to become truly proficient. Does anyone have any tips on how to speed up the process?
