I started a new job some three weeks ago or so, and I think that is doing wonders for me. My old job was terribly stressful, while the new one is very enjoyable. I still need to do more to relieve stress, such as exercising regularly and engaging in leisure activities, but switching jobs has been a major boon.

Tomorrow, my boss is making me do something horrible to one of our vendors, someone whom I happen to like. It’s been stressing me out, but I’ve just decided I won’t let it bother me. There’s no point in losing sleep over something I can’t avoid, so what the hell, right?
I usually stress out A LOT about upcoming confrontations and such. In my experience, these moments can be bad, but they are usually nowhere near as bad as I feared they would be. If I can just lock this thought inside my brain, then things would be a lot better, I think.
I am tense all the time! I have a stressful job, which I loathe, so I am sure that is one of the reasons. Starting a new job soon, so hope that will help. I will also set some “sanity” time aside for myself every week, starting right now. Maybe a visit to the sauna will help, too…
