I found a great new tool to help me organize. It’s called Task Coach and it’s freeware. I am using to break down larger goals into more manageable tasks, and it’s working well so far.
Also, I’ve started to scour the house for things I don’t need to get rid of my clutter. I have two bags of books and several small appliances (bread maker, toaster, etc) to donate, since I don’t ever use them. I trust the extra space will be a huge help.

I used MS Money to pretty good effect a couple of years ago. It really helped to keep track of bills, expenses, etc. However, I didn’t use it at all in 2007, and my finances are loopy. OK, time to dust it off and prep it for 2008. With Money and a budget, organizing my finances will be a breeze!

"To Do" lists
Haven’t gotten my planner for 2008 yet. However, I just starting making “to do” lists again, and it’s amazing how such a simple step has already made such a big difference. Now I need to prioritize the items, them give them concrete deadlines, and I will be right back at the Covey system!

For most of 2007, I used a planner designed by Stephen Covey, the author of the 7 Habits books. It was a fantastic help, and I think I will get one for 2008. Now, if I can only remember to keep using it all year long…
