Been like a year since I've been online here! 15 months ago

Well well well. hahaha.
Craazzzy. I guess I still have this same goal, but and here’s the big but:
I am now 153 lbs! I totally forgot about way back when I was 167. I’ve lost 14 lbs without really doing much. Maybe that’s why I didn’t stay on here… But, now I’m back with a vengeance! I actually have just done one week and this is my second week of some really intense working out.

I’m excited to really get so serious. I have learned sooooo much since I first started on 43 things. It’s like I’m a different person!

Lost another 2 pounds 2 years ago

Well I finally hit the 165 mark… whoo hoo. But my inches are still coming off…. My stomach hardly hangs over my jeans anymore! I have lost ALL and I mean ALLLLLL of the cellulite I had on the backs of my thighs! I have been eating really well, and I feel really good. I also noticed that my posture is getting really straight.
I have also been realllllly focusing on trying to get back into dance… not joining anywhere, but just trying to remember some contemporary moves, and really trying to get back my flexibility. It is haaaard. I can not do the splits!

well...got a little off track this weekend.... 2 years ago

So this weekend? Well… I ate ribs, muffins, MACDONALDS!!!! (this was beyond my control, because my power went out for 4.5 hours on sat… and well… what can I say. It wasn’t really that bad…but still…. So a funny thing. I lost a lot of inches so far…but I’ve only lost 3 pounds… so I am at 167. Strange eh? I have been doing a lot of muscle work, so maybe that is what’s up. Either way, I am going to be doing some rearranging as far as workout and eating goes… I will give you some tabs when it’s sorted out. I want to give my body a little lesson in speeding up the metabolism… hehehe (diabolical laugh).

Anorexia is BAD 2 years ago

frig… I just finished bawling my eyes out practically… I was just checking out other people who wanted to lose weight, and one was talking about abs. It ending up she’s anorexic, and holy shit. I just cried… Its so sad. I just can’t understand why…and it makes me pissed right off. Instead of doing the right thing, they make themselves sick and more sick… ahhh!!!!! They are totally unaware of the people they are killing right along with them!

Well hello you peeps!
I know “peeps” went out a long time ago…lol. So this is my first blog EVER. I am 22, female and reside all over the place.
I have decided that I don’t just want to loose weight, I want to be in the best damn shape I have ever been in. I know a lot of you might be trying to lose, and trust me, I know what its like to one day wake up and say… WTF? I have stretch marks! I gained quite a bit of weight in a very short amount of time… Like 4 months maybe? I noticed that my pants were becoming tight, then one day I was putting my hair up and OH, GOD. I had stretch marks on my underarms! Friiiiiig. I haven’t been like, unknown to them or something. I got them under the knees when I was like 15, and I have been embarrassed ever since.
I am going to make another topic on those….check it out if you have em too. ANYWHO, the whole weight thingy. I got to be a size 13/14. Ahhh… I am short too, so you can imagine I really look, ahem… more robust than normal. (P.S for people that are STILL reading- I’m not really sure what the limit is for talking-writing- but I’m sorry if I am extremely boring, I’m sure you can just skim…) So I kind of had a breaking point, and yes… I resorted to some pretty rash actions. Like pills… no not bennies or yellows or something… but Tyrosine pills (technically the kind I bought was called a “vitamin” with this stuff in it.) Trust me if ANY of you guys or gals is using this stuff… stop right now. This totally f*s with your system, and eventually does the opposite long term of what you want short term. Yucky stuff. So I was totally crying and shit and very unhappy. Talked to a good friend (best friend in fact) who knows a lot about the body and how it works, and nutrition etc. So, like everything under the sun. I made my own work out plan, which consists of an hour every day 5 days a week.

1. About 30 mins of a high pace but not racing walk.

2. I do biceps, triceps, and upper back (not as complicated as it sounds)
3. A series of floor exercises

4. Stretching/ yoga meditation… This part isn’t long, but it’s good to thank yourself and your body afterwards. Its actually really peaceful, because I do this part outside too, and I can face the sun with my eyes closed while I warm down. Ahhhh I loooove that part.

So I have been doing that since March 7 this year, but I only started the diet (which is actually just a new way of eating) last week, and in one week I lost 1/2 an inch off my waist. Crazy eh?

So you guys I am working hard to get to my goal, and hopefully I can be supportive, and maybe even helpful, because I did TOOOOONSSSSSSSSSS of research myself on workouts, high impact, low impact, cardio, yoga, pilates, strength training… etc. etc. etc. So if you have a question and I can help, or at least point you in the right direction, I will. :)
