be a plus size model

I bought one of those fabric measuring tape thangs and took all my measurements. According to the standard charts I am anywhere between an 18 and a 22 based on bust, waist and hips.

raised eyebrow I think I may have been shortlisted for that (low brow) plus size modelling competition in Melbourne. How funny would it be if I won. They want my measurements though. Hmmm. I hope they don’t deter them.

We shall see.

so much for that bloody modelling comp! they’ve got all these photos on their website but MINE’s not there, and they said they’d announce the winner in early february – well it’s march! why isn’t my photo on their website i entered a month ago.

stupid. If you’re going to have a legitimate competition, do it properly, halfwits.

i entered a plus size modelling competition for Annalise Fashion. Prize is free clothing, airfares, accommodation and a photo shoot. That would be very cool indeed! Still need to drop a dress size though, if I want to get serious.

the older i get the more I wonder whether I am actually conventionally attractive enough? I’d probably have to lose a bit of weight so I’m at least all in proportion but I reckon I could do it. I think the world is changing and soon there will be heaps of plus size modelling work. I need to get a proper portfolio together.
