i started flamenco when i got the lead role in Carmen and needed to do the dancing/castanet/singing/seduction scene onstage. I worked my ass off and got to be quite reasonable, and the scene was great. But then I stopped. I loved it – I was graceful and empowered and even bought my own skirt and castanets. I’d love to get back into it.
