i want to assail myself with harsh beauty until i cry and smear

i want to be overwhelmed with a dizzy and corrupting fever of writing, drawing, speaking, a frenzy of creation, i want to be felled and diseased

i want to stare straight into the sun and emerge as blind and wise as a fetus
