go to grad school

I’m not sure if I want to teach or pursue the Master of Public Policy degree I’ve dreamed of doing. Teaching might be better for me in the near-term. Still, its hard to see all of my friends moving into their impressive career titles right now and making the good money. I’ll figure this out.

I’ve decided that I’m going to apply to the LBJ Graduate School of Public Policy at UT. The program suits my career interests and pocketbook a little better than B-School does (although that would still be amazing)...

My dad’s friend’s daughter did a double graduate degree in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications at UT and got a job at Paypal in SF after she graduated. Now she works in Amstardam. Sweet!

I am hoping to begin working on my application this upcoming Spring and start taking classes (if accepted) next fall while I continue to work. It will difficult but hopefully not as insane as college because I’m more mature now. Of course, I will need to step up my work on my other goal of managing my time better…
