Its so freakin’ hard to do this??? Am I just wired wrong or somthing???? Hindsight really IS 20/20 because after the fact, I can see all too well how I should of behaved,either controlle my emotions or not taken somthing so personally.

sigh

And its esp. bad when it happens with those closest to you, your family.

getting there 4 years ago

i read a quote somewhere about how if you let others dictate YOUR actions, your pretty much going to be blown about for the rest of your life….never able to stand your ground and decide for yourself WHO you are.
This was SO empowering to me because ofen i find myself doing just that,letting others decide who i am going to be.
But now that im aware of this concept…i have been immproving.
for instance,theirs a woman at work who i think just doesnt like me.
honestly, i dont care for her either,she talks about everything but the job we are doing,and is quite nosy.
but the thing is, i dont have to feed into her behavior. i can rise above it and BE ME. be someone i can feel good about at the end of the day.
none of her actions merit me changing MY ethics.
