Awaken and see through the illusion

what is real in the most true sense is rare… But those are the moments when one feels genuinely awake and aware of the fundamental nature of our existence in this body. These moments are precious but easily forgotten when the illusion casts its net and traps us once more in the Maya…

is to think that we will live forever… When we realise that this is not so, what we do in this life becomes poignant and crucial. What is important and what is not? How do we measure ourselves in terms of what we have done? If we become aware of a time limit on our days then do we change and bring full attention to the way we pass our time by our actions? My time in this body is limited and will end at some point, though I do not know when… I must become more aware of my life each day, of what I do on this journey. Avoidance of the subject matter is unhelpful and will offer no chance for reflection or for becoming conscious and awake… If I am able to awaken my consciousness to this fully then the opportunity for meaning and discovery will become central to my life.

to not get caught in the trap of thinking that wealth and position in life are important… To me this would result in many wasted years of one’s lifetime…

Awareness… We grow up with conditioning that seeks to trap us in a prison of our own making and it is vital that we try to break free from its hold. If we don’t then we will remain confined and we will continue to sleep with no hope of ever waking up and seeing through the illusion that binds us to the suffering of the human condition…

a life long goal… But one that feels crucial to my existence on this plane. Time to remove the veil and see through different eyes…
