I was talking to someone today who had just left the Santa Cruz area. We talked about the beach, and the Redwood trees, about surfing the sand in your toes…

I started thinking…of the power of the waves hitting the sand as you sit alone with you back to a Redwood tree as the moonlite bounces off the water….
that’s my favorite time to pray.

if I could build a house anywhere in the world, this is the location it would be. that would probable mean it would also have to be somewhere in northern California, somewhere near Santa Cruz
I can hear the seagulls and pelicans now….sigh
