Something we always did when I was younger

I want to get a tent, sleeping bags, and do it that way, not the camping in a motor home or a hotel, that is not in my thinking REAL camping. My son and I went once with my X-husband, before my daughter was born, He was scared of all the bugs. but had fun just running around free. My boyfreind now has never gone! I want him to see how fun and share my very few childhood memories, and create nice healthy,and happy ones with my family. Just to find the right time weather, school work—Will we ever go?
