Buy a House

what a nice want…I have a 2bedroom apartment, I love it. it’s mine, I have had it since Feb 07 this coming Feb it will be ONE WHOLE YEAR.. I came into this apt. with a two year plan. go ahead laugh, but I am so freaking tired of moving.
I want to at least stay here for another year.
Its a nice decent neighborhood. the kids have kids here to play with. the neighbors are somewhat quiet to themselves. so that’s nice. and when they are out, or I run into them in the hall, they are nice, and friendly. they even HOLD the door.

I know I can afford to stay here. True I have no Internet, cable TV super huge TV, a nice fancy car. BUT I do have, food a roof, toys, a newer used car…movies, music. kids, a kitty. the kids have food toys clothes,. blah blah. and are happy healthy and still go to the school the started in. I have that luxury of keeping them in the school district. I drive too far, but they have stability.
so buying a house. is a great thing to have on this list, BUT I know what I cannot afford, and what would be BEYOND my means, and that would be it.

I could get a roommate, do it that way…ha ha I am in no hurry in moving in with anyone. even my awesome boyfriend….I like him a lot, and would not wanna ruin that by moving in together. I am kinda enjoying just visiting, he does live RIGHT next door. IRONY! I love it.

I was looking into renting here at this place the whole time, when I was staying with the Xinlaws. and priced them and looked at them and all that. well, my ma & sister used to stay here when she had just gotten divorced from my dad.
so I know the area, and the layout of the place.

we had talked for a long time, and I thought moving close would be nice, little did I know it would be the one right fucking next door. I can look out my bedroom window and creepy can see his bedroom window….and who ever he has coming to visit.
kidding, he is so not like that at all.
but I wish now that it is coming to be winter again, that we could build an underground tunnel system, that we could walk through that would be sweet.

far away thing to do.

this month rent is paid, YEA, next month is ALMOST paid, one more paycheck and I will be there, so living paycheck to paycheck (which is every 2weeks) sucks ass. and no matter how I budget it, it still sucks. I want to win the lotto, but I don’t even have the change to buy a ticket.
so big purchases like houses, toys digital cameras, aren’t happening anytime soon.

my bf has been talking seriously about buying our house… I don’t know why? partly b/c we wouldn’t have to look, and could actually save money looking for bigger, and then maybe so the kids cam have stablity? But he has been planning it in his head, and talks to me about it often latly…well see

this one I have really been thinking about too much. we need more room. 4 people one bathroom, 2 kids 2 many toys/clothes
not enough locks on the doors. I want to move out but we can’t afford it right now. I want to move to an area where I can walk around, let the kids play and walk to school, have a 2 bathroom 4 bedroom and a basement.

he is so great, he likes us, the kids and how well I decorated…anyway he knows my money situation and is really wanting me to stay on and maybe even buy it, well I think it would be good to build my credit, and start small with a home. he is willing to help fianace it, and give a good report. I want to say yes, but the house is small, it was just to be temporary but with lack of money and starting school, I think it would be good to have stabity not just for me but the kids too. and we can always sell it. my BF and the other hand is real reluctant he thinks its too small to and we should just rent 6 more months and save up money, then get something bigger. in a little better area. I think it would be good to buy bigger but we don’t have a nest egg saved up, and with me going to school more than working, its hard to decide right now.

the house from the movie Forest Gump, THAT is a house, the wrap around porch. But realistically I want a 4 bedroom finished basement, 2 bathrooms, big backyard, for kids and garden, a spiral staircase would be cool too, a balcony to lay in the sun nude. I want it all in a place where I can see stars every nite, have no nieghbors, but not have to drive too far to work or school but far enough away. :)
