Unfortunately, I spent $25 on pizza at the beginning of the week. There was no food, and I was starving. However, I haven’t spent any money since then (at least out of my checking account, which is what matters to me), and $25 is better than $115. So it’s a win.
The problem? I have to pay $260 today to fix my car. And it sucks, but it’s definately not being spent unnecessarily. At least now my air conditioning will stop smelling like maple syrup, and my friends won’t get smoked out when we drive thru at Taco Bell. (Of course, I can’t eat Taco Bell anymore anyway!)

I’ve decided to save money by carrying cash on me instead of the seemingly never-ending money supply that is my debit card. At least for this week, I’ve decided to institite a spending freeze, allowing myself only five dollars this week to spend on lunch at work. I will make this work by eating cheap food, like fruit, and bringing my own bottled water.

To begin keeping track of how much money I spend on a regular basis, I went through my bank statement and discovered that just last week, I spent $114.23! That’s not including bills or anything! That’s just going to Applebee’s and buying random food during my break. That’s terrible! There has to be a cheaper way.
