the most important thing i learned this week:
im bad at transitions, endings, forks in the road.
we always want what we don’t have right? transitions, endings, forks in in the road all leave me feeling stuck in the middle. longing for what i had and uncertain about what is before me. does self awareness make you any a better self than when you were naive? hope is there to tell me yes. i am getting better, every day, every month, every year.
my birthday is quickly approaching and i’ve already begun thinking of all i’ve learned in the last year.

im learning that i learn lazily, at times.
keep my brain moving. stay focused.
don’t just read words, feel them.

i means the most when you learn about humanity, about yourself. books won’t always have the answers, or even the right questions when it comes to that.

i’ve been learning more and more that no matter how much it hurts not to have someone in your life, you can only do so much to have them there. they make choices too, it’s not all up to me.
slowly accepting that some people just don’t want the same things as i do, and that is ok.

one of the most impacting things you can learn, is that there is always something to learn. every day you wake involves a incomprehensible number of learning opportunities. big or small.
you just have to embrace everything that comes at you as that, a learning opportunity. it will help you grow.

while reading a book i came across the most beautiful way in which individual’s thoughts can blow you away, opening to you a new world of thought.
i have been reaffirmed that one thought is all it takes to change someone.
in reference to civilization, she said “it is having enough security in your own faith and culture to allow people the sanctity of theirs”
this thought is so brilliant to me, and misunderstanding of these type of ideas is something that has created such discontent in the world. tolerance, acceptance and respect; all concepts that a sentence can teach.

you will learn how to help yourself.
it will break your heart, and it will make you strong.

to never stop learning is to seize every learning opportunity, take something from every hardship, every happiness of my precious moments of life.

i love reading for the very reason that i have the possibility of learning so many things every time i pick up a book, paper or read an article online.
it’s difficult trying to take one thing from each day, but maybe if i did i would see that i haven’t cause for being so upset, so often.
keep an open mind.
