Daily stretching still going - need to push it! 2 years ago

Despite my schedule I’ve been sticking to my daily stretching. Physically I feel better and much more loose, but if I want to increase flexibility I really need to start working on it!

Kicking workouts will probably be the staple of my workouts considering my hand/wrist injury. This will help me develop strength and flexibility at the same time.



Days 4 and 5 (July 20-21) 2 years ago

I’ve been able to stick to my basic stretching routine, and while I’m not increasing flexibility by leaps and bounds I am slowly starting to feel more loose each day. I think I’m starting to get used to the morning and evening stretches too – they’re nice and relaxing.

Stretched both morning and evening for both days. I’ll stretch again while I’m reinstalling WoW (yes, I’m a geek).



Day 4 (July 19th) 2 years ago

A day behind in writing this since last night I got held up. Stretched in the morning and during my workout. If I can get up to 10 days straight I’ll be happy.



Day 3 2 years ago

Nice light stretch in the morning and again during the day. I’ve already noticed that my lower back is not bothering me nearly as much. I’ll finish up with a third light stretch right before I hop in the sack.

Logging the quest for a six pack, my workouts, and stretching is going to be obnoxious, but hopefully it will keep me on track.

Second day and I did a nice light stretch in the morning. I’ll follow-up with some stretching before/after my run and before I head to bed tonight.

While flexibility isn’t #1 for my job, it’s definitely extremely helpful. I’m going to use this as a stepping off goal to get to a split (read: a VERY long time from now). For now I just want to stick to a regular regimen of stretching to help overall with my back.
