the battle continues 10 months ago

I have managed to prevent going backwards, but keep losing most of any ground made, but not all. Ok really going to get this to happen.



I am in fact... 10 months ago

...hungry, although I have no real right to be since I eat a decent amount of food today, but since I am resolved to make sure this goal actually happens I didn’t eat anything extra. The only reason I am hungry is probably because today I have been mainlining coffee to the extent that if I drink any more I would no doubt fry my nervous system and possibly be transformed into some kind of new superhero (Caffeine Man maybe) with the special ability of staying awake for long periods and talking gibberish on demand…

after being only a day or two away from this, xmas arrived. However I didn’t go right back to the start over the holidays, which is good. Training is increasing, but now need to make sure I eat healthy again. By and large I have, but I notice I have eaten loads of biscuits with tea !!!

so will now make sure that I:

  1. eliminate all unhealthy snacks again.
  2. cook healthy food, mainly vegetarian (but with fish)
  3. use the bowl method for dinner (use a bowl rather than a plate as smaller portions, a simple method as calorie counting is not for me, although I do look at such information when buying certain things).

ok i miscalculated with my last post and realize that the christmas season is upon us. Hence need to counteract in someway even if damage limitation. Goal is to take advantage of the soon to be enjoyed xmas holidays to increase the yoga / running / other exercise, to promote calmness and health if not fitness.

only one pound away, goal is to succeed by end of next week.
and then move onto… lose another 10 pounds.



Hover 13 months ago

Just hovering right now on this goal, not falling back, but not making any real headway either, but at least have kept the previous progress.
Christmas is coming ! lol, so the goal here is damage limitation. I love going home and eating the great food that my mother cooks when the family is all together again, and like contributing wine and ingredients to make sure all is ok, although always feel guilty about my mum doing all the cooking and not really being able to help as it wouldn’t work (although i love cooking although what I really enjoy is cooking good food for a group of people and friends and the good atmosphere) . However often there is chocolate everywhere which serves no purpose really. So the goal is to enjoy christmas and the great social food but yet avoid the unhealthy.

Maybe i will even try to do yoga and fitness over the holiday. would be good although so is the chance to rest.



Late night update: Restarting the discipline 13 months ago

Going well on this for a while and then work, ordeal of love and lots of positive activities helping others and exploring interests but spending more time in the day doing so than there is in fact time and still be able to sleep sufficiently, led to, all things being equal, a gradual decrease in the objective coalignment of activities required to meet this goal and activities actually implemented. However a renewed effort to keep the 30 day rolling average weight loss on a positive track has begun.

Overall have loss weight since last post so life balance is just about ok.

End of November target can definitely be achieved with increased discipline, more home cooking, and adding in the exercise again.

Loose 5 kgs by end of November through eating healthy and ramping the exercise back up.

This is my first goal as the easiest to think about.
