Learn to speak Spanish

I have been reading my spanish workbook at night and think I am starting to retain alot more. I have also been getting spanish word a day. Now I think I will up it a notch and try writing as an exercise.

I signed up for Spanish word a day. Its a great site, they let you listen to how the word is pronounced, which is really helpful.

I went on vacation recently and accidentally took the Spanish instructions for my camera. Crash course in trying to figure out the language an my camera. :)

I found a great book to pick up spanish words. 500 word to grow on. Its in the kids section with pictures for every word. I figured, this is how I learned english. :) I have a learners tape and berlitz book also. I have learned… Un poco solamente.(only a little)... baby steps.

Ive been reading my spanish workbook every night and watching spanish sesame street(they go slow). I think Im actually picking alot more up now. Yeh!

Even If I just learn a little it would be great! We travel all over and I would love to be able to understand and speak even a little in someone else language. I learned french in high school. Although I don’t know a lot it has opened up more of the world to me. I will try the suggestion to watch Spanish TV. Sounds like a very good idea! ... its a start :)
