I’ve been doing a lottt more hills now.
There’s only one left to tackle now.
It’s this HUGE MONSTER of a hill, and every time I get close to going down it, I freak out and turn into the nearest driveway and go back to my house.

Well, now that I’ve tackled the intial fear of going down them, I’m still scared to go down them without my hands on the brakes! I’m always going down so slow, but I want to just let go
Guess what?!! Today, because I was feeling kinna frustrated, I went for a bike ride through my neighborhood. I just said to myself, “Okay, Emily, you can do this. Just suck it up, hold down on the brakes, and go down.” And so I tackled all the hills in my neighborhood! And trust meeeee, that’s a lot. :D
It was really awesome.
I started getting faster and faster at it, and yaaay! I feel so accomplished!
Once, I went down a hill on my bike, and because I didn’t know how to use the brakes on the bike I was on, I hit the curb, flipped over, and got a contusion (a bruised bone.) Even though it didn’t really hurt that much, and I was even proud of wearing a sling, I now have some… mental thing… where going down hills at a fast speed makes me scared and I start breathing heavily and I could cry.
But I want to get over this.
Today, I went down one hill. It was small, but I still felt really awesome when I went down it. I’ll keep doing this until I love the feel of going down a really huge hill, wind in my hair, smiling against the sun. :D ALLTHATCHEESYSTUFF.
