find an apartment

Sooo, once again the house hunting continues. Somewhere for August, I hope I can find something decent!

I am meeting my possible landlord tomorrow to bring a deposit and our application…I’m positive my references will check out (my parents are probably going to be like half supporting me still) so hopefully Ditz’s do too!

I want itttttt….it’s so cute. Three bedrooms (one large, two small…Gaelen and I agreed to take the two small ones and let Julie and Ditz take the large one), two living rooms/common spaces…a DISHWASHER AND LAUNDRY…aaaand it’s super close to Dufferin mall and therefore the No Frills. Awesome. And there’s grapes in the backyard…we could make wine!

EDIT: Also, the landlord said that if our references check out we could get together to sign the lease later the week.

Hells yes. It’s mine! I bought a garment rack today! Yayyyyyyyy I have a lot of clothes.

I have like two and a half weeks to find somewhere to live. Not that it’s a big deal to move in somewhere towards the end of August, but I’m the type to freak out and I’d like to start moving in like…now. I won’t actually be out of my house until the end of August-ish anyway, but it would be nice to have somewhere to be during orientation week…and all that.

I dunno. The boy is slow on the uptake and makes me very frustrated because I want information faster than he feels like producing it. Emphasis on the feels like, not “can and will.”

/rant

I either need a really cheap 1 bedroom/very spacious bachelor (like, tolerable for two people) or an alright 3 bedroom. Gaelen and I are possibly moving in with our mutual friends (cutest couple ever) and living with them doesn’t make me cringe, so I’m excited either way.

But if anyone knows about anything in downtown Toronto (preferably near a subway station, or Ryerson University), please let me know!
