Read 50 books this year.

Two months into the year and I am doing great! As of 2/28, I have read 20 books. I am so happy… this is already more than I read all of last year. Some of the books I have read have even been from the young adult category. My kids have said, Mom, you have to read this… it was so good. Also, I have started to do read-alouds with the kids again…just because they are older doesn’t mean that we still can’t read together. My other adult fiction have been romance, mystery and some contemporary fiction.

Blue Water by A. Manette Ansay first attracted me because it involves a couple in Wisconsin – my home state. Then the story line involving a couple who loses their only son in a car accident caused by the wife’s childhood friend. We see how the couple choose to move on after the accident and what affect it has on their relationship as well on their relationship with the other car driver and family members as well. This is not the type of book I usually read by I really liked it.
