Now that I’m practising writing Chinese maybe I can use it to work on my handwriting, too. I want to try practising using my arm to write instead of my wrist and fingers. I’ve read that that helps.

I’ve started learning spoken Chinese (Mandarin) and will soon start learning written Chinese. I’d like to have good hand writing by the time I start. Or maybe practicing Chinese will allow me to practice my handwriting at the same time.

I found this website a while ago. They seem to think the key to having good handwriting is to write using your shoulder and arm instead of your wrist and fingers. It sounds like it might work, but I haven’t practiced it much yet.
