Today was day 17 without a smoke. Can’t say I wouldn’t have enjoyed one but I can tell you what I have enjoyed even more over the past 2 1/2 weeks as a non smoker…..
Sea shells sea shells by the sea shore. Sometimes in life the most beautiful things are right in your own backyard. There for all to see, beautiful yet unappreciated by you becasue it exists in the back of your mind only to be taken advantage of and forgotten. As part of my non smoking therapy I have rekindled my realtionship with the sea as well as awakened my spiritulality. Ok I’m goin ga little of subject but you will need to read many of my goals in the future to see how I have progressed on them but more importnatly how they are all interwoven and essentially directly connected. So back to the sea shore thing….. The rising moon, thr crashing of the waves, the smell of the salt that I havn’t smelt in years. The awakening of my senses as I taste the salt as the wind gently blows through my hair. And it;s not just my sense of smeell or sense of taste taht is better it is all of my senses that have come alive again. Tasting, the salt air, feeling the wind, seeing the waves, hearing the birds, smelling the blackened swordfish eminating from the baha Grill….. ummmmmm come with me and wish upon a star. For the Ocean calls to tantalize us with her many senses.

Well today is day 14 and I am finally getting around to adding this to my list of goals. Today is the fourtennth day since I decided I was no longer going gto be a smoker. So cold turkey her I am and feeling great. Still getting an ocassional craving like every day but nothing mind of body can’t handle. It actually has turned out to be a lot easier goal than I thought but there have been some other life changes which has greatly assisted in staying true to my goal. I’ll erite more on these later. The other thing is that I have been able to tie in my goal of non smoking with several other goals such as debt free, Feel alive, Explor my spirituality, find my soul mate, and exercise regularly.
If I can do it cold turkey especially right now during one of the most difficult times in my life anybody can do it. JUST QUIT. No excuses, Don’t be a wussy just do it.
