We need to find a way to really value freedom in America. We need to find a way for the fundamentalist conservatives to live side by side the liberals like me. This doesn’t necessarily mean having the Democrats recover the White House, it means everyone really appreciating that they have the freedom to live, as they desire, and allowing their neighbors that same right. It means not saying that those who voted for George Bush are stupid, it means understanding that they have different values. What we all need are shared values so that we can heal this divided country.
