read the Top Borders Classics

I finished Peter Pan and am on my way to finishing Little Women then it’s off to get two more classics! I’m not sure which ones I’ll get next time, but I’m sure they will be good!

I just finished Emma… It didn’t take long at all after I finally got started. Emma, is of course the basis for clueless and in some parts I definitely could see the similarites between characters. I enjoyed the book, but still find Pride and Prejudice to by my favorite of the Jane Austen books. I believe that the next two books that I buy will be Wuthering Heights and Jane Erye.. I’m super excited about these two.

I finished Persuasion about 1 week ago and have been somewhat reading Emma. I am still in summer classes so I do not have much time for free reading. Persuasion was an interesting book, but I hated the front cover art. They made the lead character so ugly. Anyways, it was another great love story/marriage story. Jane Austen is amazing at the love stories, even though she was never married herself. Oooh and I can not wait to see the Jane Austen movie with Anne Hathaway!

Persuasion and Emma both by Jane Austen. Apparently, they added new titles.. so I have a few more than expected to read. Persuasion is what I started first so we’ll see how it is.

I have just finished Pride and Prejudice, which is #2 in the classics. This book, I believe, will be my favorite. I loved, loved, loved it. Such a classic love story. Now, I have to wait until I can get back to Athens to go buy another 2 books. I think that the next ones in line are Jane Eyre and Emma. Exciting!

a bunch more to go. However, seeing as I only have 2 in my hands at the moment, 1 to go…. then it’s off to Border’s for a few more… The one I just read was Sense and Sensibility. It was an interesting book with lots of ups and downs. Pride and Prejudice…here I come!
