get a job i like that pays well

I find it hard to prioritize this goal when I’m so much more interested in starting a business than in working for anyone else. I keep seeing jobs advertised that I suspect I would enjoy and excel at, but I always miss the application deadlines. My attention is diverted to other worthwhile arenas, but I still need to make money. Argh.
