learn piano

I think I can officially say that I play the piano. Not perfectly, mind you, I’ve only been playing for less than a year. But still :D

:O My mom bought me a piano! It’s used, and cost only about $600. But still. Whoa.

In other news, my teacher still won’t let me play Beethoven.

my teacher says I’m developping a “repertoire” :D I think that’s supposed to be a good thing!

she’s trying to get me off the sad and emotional stuff I like, and get me to play more cheery music, but I won’t hear of it! she says I’m too much of a romantic.

I learned to play “Greensleeves” today! I found it pretty difficult, actually. Took me a while to “coordinate” my hands. :P

It’s going super well! I love playing, and I’m practising a lot. My teacher is happy with me as well.

I’m currently taking lessons and I love it so far. Suits me far better as a instrument than the guitar did. I can’t wait until I can play real songs (as opposed to Mary Had a Little Lamb…)
