I'm frustrated with how our society functions.

Today, I was looking at a great job I’d love to do – Arts and Cultural Development Officer with the Darebin City Council.
However…
According to their position description, I’m not qualified or experienced enough to even be considered. Which irks me. One, I reckon I’d do a damn good job, and love it. Two, I’ve been trying to get into roles like this for a while now, and it seems that even the most basic of roles wants experience first. I am curious as to where one gets it?
I plan to still apply, after all, it can’t hurt.
But I think, eventually, I’m going to need to seriously look into Event Management. When? I don’t know. One day.
