get married, stay married, and live happily ever after

I believe I have really met the girl meant for me. We have been married for 9 months. We are even expecting a baby in the near future. We never fight because we are both pretty laid back and have similar goals. Marked this goal complete today.

After the eHarmony girl. I found out my great grandma died. I went to her funeral which was in Ohio. Ohio is my old stomping ground. I grew up there. I heard a lot of, “I haven’t seen you since you were this big” and “Where is your g/f or wife” at the funeral. Most of my younger cousins have been married for years and some had kids. It was kind of depressing after the recent break-up with the eHarmony girl which couldn’t even be called a break up because she was never my girlfriend anyways. Then, since I was in Ohio, I realized that I like the attitude of the girls in Ohio. It wasn’t like rude but to the point. No BS.
I came home from all that and met an Ohio girl online. She has been everything I have ever wanted. And I have taken all the advice I could get from people. Well, except for the advice that says you have only known her for days. We are getting married today 02-12-2007. I am really happy with her. So, this goal is going to be open for only a short time longer while I figure out if the stay married is an issue.

I had my last date witht the eHarmony girl on 01-31-2007. I wanted her to be my girlfriend. That is all I asked and she said no. I don’t know if it was the rejection or if it was that she should have been looking for a b/f if she was on eHarmony. Either way that was the end of that. Sorry it took me so long to write an update.

We have had two dates so far. I was left feeling like I couldn’t have asked for anything more or less after both dates. I like where this is going and have a good feeling about it. I will try to keep updating.

I signed up for eHarmony in the middle of December 2006. I don’t want to sound like a comercial but it truly is a different kind of dating website. I may have met someone I’m truly compatible with. Well acording to their 29 dimensions of compatibility and the Taurus-Scorpio compatiblity. Too soo to really say but I’ll try to keep you up to date every couple weeks.

A week after the break up we got back together and I put her happyness before my own. Then without warning one week after we get back together, she breaks up with me in a voicemail. Later, I find out that she went back to her ex. I guess I was just a rebound relationship. I should have trusted my instincts when I orginally broke up with her.

I broke up with the girl because she wasn’t in love with me and didn’t seem to want the same things that I did. But when I got to the store to return the ring… She called and my cell phone wouldn’t keep a signal so I hurried home without returning the ring to call her back…

I keep telling everyone how happy I am with this girl. Until, the other day when my mom told me to just buy her a ring and I did. Now I just have to wait for the right time to ask her.

I met this girl who has a 2yr old and 3yr old… She makes me so happy… The kids like me and I like them… I see good things happing toward this goal…
