When I say this, I mean that I want to always be able to support myself. I don’t want to have “economic outpatient care” from family members. Since I first thought of this goal, I’ve changed some stuff in my life. I now pay my own rent; I have a job (sort of); I have been budgeting/saving my money. I’m going on the offensive right now in that I’m looking for a good, career-relevant summer job, so wish me luck.
