I’m having second thoughts about this goal. First, I don’t have the energy or time to track every single book I read. For example, I’ve read probably five or six romance novels since I last posted on this, but I just don’t note them because I forget or I don’t have computer access or whatever. Plus, I’m wondering how good it is to track the books I read…is it some sort of ego trip?

So, my goal for 2007 was 50 books, and I’ve pretty much got that one in the bag. This year, I want to read 75 books, with about half of those being “classics” or “popular” books everyone is reading. I guess I really want to read some books everyone is “supposed” to read. With a degree in English, I guess that’s kind of a requirement huh?
