I met a boy from France on the subway in New York this week. He was living in the suburbs because he recently married an American girl he met in Paris. He does not have any friends in the US and doesn’t think he speaks English very well. The only reason we started talking is because he thought I was French (and I was dressed very well that day!).
So we exchanged numbers and I got a text from him, which I replied to all in French. He said my French was good! Haha.
