A real 40 mins on Tues. Today I was out for 1:05 but lots of hiking the steep trail. Still, getting there.

Good to get back in the water
Twas cold and cloudy, then the sky cleared – I sat in the sun for
several minutes after getting out of the pool, it is the best part of swimming
The going was good there for a while, then it got cold and I couldn’t bring myself to run in 38 degree rain. So 2 weeks off put me back. But today I enjoyed a 30 min trail run in 70 degree sunshine-no more motivation needed with that gift in mid January
Once again I am starting over
It once took me 2 weeks to get in some sort of groove, now it seems like it will be 6
But this might be the goal I most want to accomplish
I can now run for 45 mins, but it seems to be a slow plod up and down the hilly trails
And I can swim for 30 mins
Now to consciously increase those each week
I return to the trails and pool only this week
I might very well be the most out of shape in my life
24 min jogs
07/11 40 min run yesterday morning. Pretty simple to ramp up to 1 hr: 5-10 min increases on an out & back course. The swimming goal will be a bit more of a challenge.
