I have an interview with Big Brothers/Big Sisters on November 14th. I am excited. For a long time I said I didnt really like kids but I do. They are honest & hilarious. I want to interact more with my community; and I hope this goes well.
Its a school based commitment so I have time for getting a job too. My goal is to have a full time job with 40 hrs or more; or two part time jobs equal to 40 hrs or more, being in big brothers big sisters, and going to my ged prep classes. Oh yea and going to the gym three times a week.
I know I can do it. For now I have to get this BBBS out of the way. A lot of paperwork is involved. I guess so the parents know who their children are working with.
The program I`m doing is only an hour a week; but for a year commitment. If I set my mind to it; I CAN DO IT! Corny but that always works for me.
