karaoke in Japan

I’ll settle for KARAOKE-ING IN JAPANESE, also, because apparently there’s a karaoke joint just a half hour away from here that caters to Japanese business men. Miagete goran yoru no hoshi wo, here I come!

Every once in a while I teach myself a new, popular or classic Japanese song in hopes of one day going to Japan and having at least one Japanese song to karaoke to.

‘Miagete goran yoru no hoshi wo’ by Sakamoto Kyuu hopefully is the staple I hear it to be. Hirai Ken’s ‘Hitomi wo tojite’ also seems to be popular, plus I have one or two Utada Hikaru songs under my belt.
