Put on different shoes and get a differtent view. — 11 months ago
The hardest thing to do is to step outside of our all important personal universe and take a look around. Everyone has swirling solar systems of good and bad, happiness and sadness, joy and pain that they carry with them through the day. Every interaction we have with someone is affected by these personal solar systems and its something we have to remember.
When someone approaches you with hate and anger, it is important to realize that in the majority of cases, the hate and anger is only pointed at a particular direction that you happen to be in. It is almost always not rooted in you or as a result of your actions.
So take a deep breath and step into the other persons shoes and try to understand their moment. From there you can build a bridge to a better day.
