it means that no matter how in shape thinkim in, im probably not even close to being ready 4 this.so there is a very rough trail about 1/2 mile from my home, & i need to own it. its an easy 10 miles to a really fine double waterfall that few know of, even people who’v lived around here for a long time.the 10 miles back is a rocky 45 degree angle up hill….so its easy to get there, if u know how. the getting back makes this a rare trip. ive averaged about once every couple months, but if i want to get in shape for the trail, i need to hike that hill(actually a small, extinct volcano)....hike it like its a cake walk instead of a grueling uphill endurance thing(not my favorite, but some people love that flavor hike)did i mention the semi precious gem stones that litter the secret waterfall?....my dog loves this hike, but it makes him limp the next day.so there it is; im conquering this goal;imgonna give myself 1 year to own that trail(metaphorically)...its only 22 mles round trip….im gonna start by doing 1/2 of it twice a week.(id do more if it wasnt so brutal….i will bump it up in a month.there…i said it
