get rid of 100 things

I have lost count now, but am sure I got rid of more than another 50 items. As I preparing to move, my friends came over and made me give so much stuff away. They took two big ikea bags full of stuff (clothes, shoes, books, bags, ornaments, beatuy products and bits and pieces). There is still another ikea bag and a hamper full of things for them to come back and collect!

47. bag a soil – given to a friend
48. stack of magazines
49. perfume – gone off
50. a pile of old DVDs (15 or so) given to a friend

42. stockings – threw out as they had holes in them
43. dead pot plant – couldn’t revive it :(
44. boots card – never worked anyway
45. reed sticks air freshner thing – all dried up, threw out
46. work top with holes in it :(

34. £24 worth of coins cashed in at the cornerstore!
35. flower seeds – old
36. parcel I finally sent to my sister in Australia
37. hot choc tin – nice tin but not needed
38. black work boots – I’ve had them for over 8 years! goodbye!
39. bag of extension cords and adaptors (4 in total) – given to workmate
40. pile of paper to recycle – old bank statements, bills etc

Put an ad in gumtree to sell my juicer and a lamp which I don’t need. Let’s see how that goes!!

29. 3 old t-shirts – use for cleaning
30. AA & AAA batteries – given to flatmate

23. photos from Thailand trip that I started to print out on but not very good quality

25. 2 pens – ink starts and stop – very annoying!

Made a deal with a work colleague today and sold him a “bundle” consisting of:

4. Sky box
5. Sony speakers (1 subwoofer thing and 2 small speakers)
6. printer
7. paper shredder
8. large bottle of vodka thrown in for good measure (an old unwanted gift!)
9. A4 paper half used ;)
10. bottle of gin
11. half bottle of tequila

In preparation for my move I have realised I need to start getting rid of things, so I have to start somewhere:
