I loved Venice.

The approach to it from Jesolo across the water was so magically panoramic. Equally, the vista that opens up before your eyes when you come out of the railway station is fantastic.
Forget Gondolas, Venice’s grand decaying beauty and the lagoon and canal water traffic is amazing.
I want to go back to see inside some of the beautiful buildings next time. All that and beaches too !
