why I gave it up – suppose it was to be more specific – but am doing it again. Am actually practicing it daily at moment, wanna succeed on this, makes life less chaotic.

Need to do as I said before, self discipline. Really need a few ‘anchors’ that I achieve consistently – like building blocks of routine so some things are being attended to regularly.

I wish I could get it through my head that I actually feel better when I do my household tasks – I feel a sense of ‘control’ – i.e less chaos !!

Today I’m simply working through a list – trying to make it a no brainer cos if I think too much I get side tracked and ‘fail’. Not trying to do it all perfectly, just trying to have some self discipline so I can see I can do it !!

OOOOPS…. only just making this – am more attentive to clearing up after dinner, prepping clothes etc night before – but need keep doin’ it consistently – will say I’ve completed this then I’ll feel duty bound to keep up !

MUST start this tomorrow – havent felt the feeling of achievement over last few days cos I havent had any sort of routine – been staying up hours too late and staying in bed till lunchtime – and then although I’m dressed I don’t quite manage out of ‘pyjama mode’!

Did the home blessing hour today – I know this sounds naff to folks who have no probs with clutter etc, but my energy levels slump so much and I get sooooo overwhelmed then I feel really bad about me and it all gets worse.

So far the only thing that’s helped me feel like I’m as capable as the next person is the Flylady stuff. I don’t do it all, no way, but it does make me feel better – then I can do other stuff without all the guilt that I’m neglecting the house & family. So I’m cheering myself today ! Yay !

babysteps ? I need carried. Right, tonight I started as soon as I got in from work, cooked, laundry, tidied, then later decluttered kitchen/fridge etc as per missions. Then did some work in room.
Seems a ridiculous way to have to work but it stops me feeling so overwhelmed, gives me permission to do ‘just a bit’ & feel virtuous ! I don’t have to do it ALL ! & cos I did some stuff I don’t feel guilty for doing what I like the rest of the evening. Just need to keep it up !
