basically your brownie base…cool and add peanut butter frosting, chill in fridge for 1 hr so chocolate topping will be easier to spread, then add a ganache chocolate topping and chill for 1 1/2 hour, garnish with chopped peanuts…oh yeah, and chopped peanuts in the batter too….YUMMMM…all homemade, i’ve got the recipe, it’s the BOMB!!!
i made turkey meatloaf with quinoa instead of bread crumbs…it was really good, next time i will cover it in the oven though…it was too dry
i got this recipe from a friend, basically it’s linguine, feta, olives, sun dried tomatoes, and artichoke hearts along with some seasonings…it is a great combination- a little disheartening that everything falls off the noodles since there is no sauce to help everything stick together- i was thinking of inventing a garlic butter cream sauce because i don’t think an ordinary marinara would do it justice…i’m thinking along the lines of the papa johns pizza garlic dipping sauce-yum
i’m not a big fried anything sort of a person, this wasn’t really fried, it was a cornflake, flour, egg process and then sprayed with cooking spray and put in the oven…it wasn’t crunchy…but it wasn’t soggy, it was more…chewy…hmmm, don’t think i’ll make that again
i made some homemade molten lava cakes…they were RICH, oh wow…can we say like 99% fat…i waited too long till they were out of the oven…so it wasn’t really a lava flow- which is what i wanted…the whole ooey gooey…ah well, i probably won’t make it again because it’s sooooooooooooooo RICH, but it was a good once in a lifetime thingy…i am, however, in search of an ooey gooey lava cake recipe
yum
i’ve never roasted a whole chicken…today we had some friends over, and we served roast chicken…alton browns broiled and butterflied roast chicken…it was sooooooooooo juicy and so tender and sooooooooooo worth it….YUMM!...definitely making it again
just a recipe i got off the web…basically hamburger, rice, cream, and then the dough…it was pretty good, the dough was a sweet bread dough, hubby would prefer it as a pastry dough versus a bread dough…i think i agree, but on the other hand, i think i found the perfect dough for the sweet potatoe empanadas i’m dying to make
well, i made mac n cheese per the request of my hubby…it was LOADED with fat…that’s why he liked it so much, i liked it too, but the fact that it is so fattening makes it one of those rare indulgences vs having it as a staple menu item…sorry hubby, if you’re interested in the recipe it’s alton browns version…you can do a recipe search on foodnetwork.com
