go to the temple once a month

undecided as to whether it will be to albuquerque or to juarez. Either way, I’m happy for the opportunity

my son is a year old and there is a temple group in our ward- there is more opportunity to go with other people who can take turns watching kids. There is a trip this Saturday, so I’m hoping i can make it. I love being there and feeling the spirit there.

well i was about 50% on with this goal. I went today and enjoyed myself and the peace there. My baby is due Dec 4th, and since the temples are far away I won’t be going anymore until after I’m finished breastfeeding. So now, I get to focus on geneaology

i started a once a month temple group for the sisters and their spouses. We’ve been once and our next trip is Nov 3rd. Sadly I won’t be going after the baby comes- since I will be breastfeeding pretty much all of next year, and it will be quite difficult to get a 1/2 day away. But, on the other hand I will be able to do more of my own geneaology work.

i tried to get together with some friends to go, but it fell through…i think the fact that i’m making the effort counts for something right?

our babysitters moved…i’m trying to figure out who else i know that would be willing to babysit 6-7 hours straight. that includes the time it takes to drive. who elses children would my son get along with and who elses children would i be willing to watch for 6-7 hours if the parents wanted to cash in on a return the favor basis…hmmm. well we are going up to utah in july so we’ll be able to go frequently once we get there…i hope we do

hubby and i were able to go to the juarez mexico temple 2 weeks ago- it was wonderful. we had an adventure driving in mexico trying to find our way around. we turned onto a one way street…ha ha. good thing it was early enough in the morning and not rush hour

yay for me

the temple is a sacred place where we can get close to God and it is a place of peace and serenity. I want to go more often, I think there is a group in my ward (congregation) that goes once a month and so that will help motivate me to go
