status: motorcycle license in hand!

wow. what fun. it was hard work doing the 3 day in a row class, but i’m glad i did. i have about 12 hours in the seat now. My goal is to buy a small, cheap bike and ride for the next few months if my dad will let me borrow his car so that i don’t have to spend money on a ride! One of the instructors kept yelling: “ride it like you stole it!”

status: motorcycle class #1=DONE!

Oh man, it was so fun. I really want my own bike. I know I want a cruiser/classic. A Honda Shadow or Suzuki Boulevard or a Triumph. I just signed up for the 3 day course. After that course we can walk across the street (literally) to the DMV and take the written test and have our motorcycle license in hand! I can’t wait for July 11th!... So worth it. The 3 hour class was a familiarization course and we didn’t go fast, but now I know where everything is on a standard motorcycle and got comfortable with my feet up on the pegs! Sooooo coool! I’m a Bad Ass!

status: motorcycle course #1

i really, really want to take the jumpstart course next week on June 7th which is a motorbike familiarization course for 3 hours. if i like it, on to the basic rider 3 day course!

status: researching

i’m also interested in the Royal Enfield (pictured is a 2002) also the suggestion about the nighthawk 250 honda is good too. i like the look of it. oh and the yamaha virago.

status: options!

found a great website for Richmond, VA that has a Jumpstart course for those who’ve never set foot on a motorcycle and then a Basic Rider Course and on to intermediate and advanced! I’m seriously considering the Jumpstart course (only 3-5 hours) this summer. It is $60.
