#109: Beautiful Journey

story about women pilots in WWII who flew not in combat but in supply missions and test pilots. cool.

#108: September Canvas

More lgbt fiction/romance. cute but predictable story. liked that it addresses some autism issues.

#107: Skin Deep

I don’t even remember what this one was about. LOL.

#106: Saving Grace

In the Moon Island series. LGBT Romance. Good read, I may check out the rest of the series.

#105: Lady Lobo

LGBT Fiction. Interesting read about college basketball star’s rising maturity on and off the court and how it impacts her romantic relationships as she falls in love for the first time, but has many different types of “love” in her circle of friends. Surprisingly good.

#104: Passions Edge

LGBT fiction. This one was different, it followed the arch of a relationship that was pretty much doomed from the start and one character’s decline into mental illness. Surprisingly interesting.

#103: Stellium in Scorpio

LGBT mystery/romance. Pretty witty dialogue and fun characters. I generally don’t really like mysteries as I don’t find them particularly well crafted and I don’t like having to wait for the author to give you clues….lol

#102: The Wombat Strategy

Funny, lighthearted sort of farcical PI drama.

#101: Tango by Justin Vivian Bond

Short memoir of growing up in boys body and struggling with internal and external issues around gender and sexuality. Amusing anecdotes but surprisingly (to me anyway) there wasn’t much “meat” or intellectual power in this story which I think would’ve helped me enjoy it more. Read this one for a book group I am going to attend and check out. I had heard of Mx Bond before. He sounds interesting, but the reviews oversell it.

#100: The Blue Sweater by Jacqueline Novogratz

This was gifted to me by Joanne Kung-Vincett last summer. Great read about one woman’s journey to provide enterprises for the poorest of poor to take ownership and create income.I really enjoyed this and the anecdote about the blue sweater is exceptionally touching.
