I’m using Savoir Faire Media and they sent over like 7 designs, I liked 3 okay enough. need tweaking for my tastes and color palette, but I’m excited to get this going…

Connected with Natalie Lambert of Savoir Faire media. We had a great convo about my blog and some ideas she has and homework I need to do. I am excited to see what comes of it.
So, I got a few recommendations of designers to contact and I reached out to three folks. Two are viable and there’s a fourth that I’ll reach out to if these two don’t show promise. I miss blogging/writing and would like to reconnect to this creative outlet and platform. Wish me luck.
I definitely think EK has worked out better in terms of timeliness, but there’s functionality and aesthetics that still aren’t what I’d like. I must take the responsibility for this and assume it is my communication skills.
I have posted two, new, short blog posts to get myself into the habit of writing and sharing. I believe that this next iteration will be a chronicle of my physical fitness journey/goal to lose 100lbs.
Just wrote and lost, my entry here. Summarized: I like the changes Kanner Kreative is making (Ellen)and I need to pay the invoice for that. My biggest struggle has been to think about content. What do I want to write about?
I like the creative outlet and I liked having a community of commenters. I also have grown to appreciate and enjoy having a historical account of my travels, antics and thoughts.
I enjoy and am interested in: Travel, Cooking, Health and fitness, photography, management and leadership theory, working out, losing weight, radical positivity, relationships and personal growth and development. At the end of the (lost) post, it occurred to me that the journey to lose 100lbs may be my core focus for 2011 writing and content and then add in whatever else strikes my fancy.
I have to remember that I’m writing for me, but wanting to help others. Not the other way around.
EK has already worked on the updates that I’ve asked for. She’s added Twitter and FB buttons, reduced the “tag” category cloud and reduced the number of posts that show at once and eliminated the double photos that showed up for each post.
I’m excited to get back to the creative outlet of blogging.
I liked AJ a lot, but I gather that he may be too busy or my job too small or we’ve hit a creative wall. I found Ellen via twitter also so I’m going to give her a try. I don’t think I’m overly demanding or even impatient so, no harm no foul. The page is probably 75% of where I’d like it to be. I also have to figure out what I want to focus on. My interests are:
Travel, cooking, human behavior and psychology, leadership and management theory and entreprenuership.
I write mostly for/to myself I think. I like to think there’s some audience out there who might find what I say interesting, but I do miss the creative outlet of the blog. Especially for travel stories.
AJ, my designer guy, finally put the new theme/layout up about a week ago. He and I are both away but have plans to work on getting the site up and running. I want to add FB and Twitter feeds, etc. I’m excited and I like the new layout though I don’t know what I’ll be tackling in terms of content.
I have a designer and we finally got him “back end” access to my blog. I am looking forward to the redesign/update, but have no further ideas on which direction I’d like to take the content.
I have hired and been working with a web designer and a graphic designer over the last few weeks. It has cost a little over $325 so far, but I miss blogging and the creativity it inspired as well as the motivation it gave me to live large and authentically with public accountability. I am also trying to discern how to “position” my blog, but for he most part I miss the fun and the community. My goal is to re-launch on 3/30/10. My 37th birhtday!
